Terms of service

These terms apply when you use SmallLot, a service run by ShipSure, to prepare written answers for a tender. They're short on purpose. Questions: keith@shipsure.space.

1. The service

We draft written quality answers for a tender you name, based on the tender documents and the evidence you give us. The Standard service covers up to 4,000 words in total and the Extended service up to 10,000. Both include one round of changes you request within 7 days of delivery. We deliver within 5 working days of the later of payment and our receiving the evidence we asked for, or within 3 working days if you buy the rush option and we've confirmed capacity.

2. Free briefs

A bid/no-bid brief is free, carries no obligation, and is our honest reading of the tender documents. It isn't legal advice.

3. Price and payment

Prices are those shown on the site when you order: £395 Standard, £695 Extended, +£150 rush. We invoice through PayPal and start work once the invoice is paid.

4. Refunds

If the draft isn't usable, tell us within 7 days of delivery what fell short and we'll refund the fee in full. If you cancel before we've started drafting, we'll refund in full.

5. Your responsibilities

6. No guarantee of outcome

Contract awards are decided by the buyer. We don't guarantee that any bid will pass, score a particular mark or win.

7. Ownership and confidentiality

Once you've paid, the drafted answers are yours to use in this bid and future ones. We keep your documents and tender information confidential, use them only to do your work, and delete them as set out in the privacy notice.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the fee you paid for it. We're not liable for lost contracts, profits or opportunities. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
